Transitioning from the ‘Road to Indy’ in the USA, where Sowery made his mark with podium finishes and an IndyCar Series test at Sebring International Raceway, the 26-year-old from Cambridgeshire brings a wealth of American racing experience to the endurance sportscar scene.

“The IMSA series is a new challenge for me after my journey so far in single-seater racing,” explained Sowery. “But my previous experiences and familiarity with racing in America will no doubt contribute to our efforts at Daytona.”

Reflecting on the recent team synergy during the Asian Le Mans Series at Sepang, Sowery expressed confidence in the collective strengths of his new teammates. “I’ve seen firsthand the pace and race craft of my teammates in action. George, Colin, and Malthe showcase both speed and strong traffic management on the track.”

The Rolex 24 at Daytona marks an exciting chapter for Sowery as he collaborates with the winning CrowdStrike Racing team, aiming for victory in one of the most prestigious events in motorsport.

“The goal is clear: we’re eyeing success at Daytona,” affirmed Sowery. “It’s going to be a big task to tackle as any 24 hour race is, but I know if everyone does their part well, we should be fighting for the win”
